Lightweight flexible material, great fit.My grandson is a stocky boy so I always get him husky. These shorts however he almost couldn't even get it over his thighs. The other shorts that he has in the same size fit with a little room like he likes them. I would go a size up.So these are great looking shorts! Light, easily dry and are nicer, more dressed up, break from all the sports shorts your little guy likes! They wash nice and I'd you little fella hates buttons and zippers, this is a great find. The only reason for 4 stars is they run super small. Order a size up for sure.I really wanted these to work! But they didn’t. The material is awful. And even though the waist is stretchy it’s really not. We ended up keeping them because I had rapped them up for Xmas. So whenever I have him wear these he fights me on it. I’d keep looking moms!!Perfect for husky boys. Like the water resistant ability as well. My grandson says they are comfortable and stylish Great combination! Thank you!!!too small too tight in the crotch area fir my 13 yr old son 96 lbs 5'3''I returned for a larger size... waist has no stretch at all but they are really cute. My son is tall 6 yr old average weight...returned the 7 for a 8 husky they fit better although due to waste with no stretch! still had a little trouble getting them on.small in the waist but long in the legs
