French Toast Girls' Elastic Waist Pull-on Pants - Comfy Playtime & School Wear

I ordered a size 5 in these pants for my 5 year old daughter. I previously purchased a size 5 in the French Toast boot cut pull on pants, but they were a little big. I was hoping these would fit better, but they are way too small and SHORT. They are 3 inches shorter than the boot cut pants and almost 3 inches narrower at the bottom of the leg. The inseam on the size 5 is just under 16 inches; the width of the leg at the bottom is only 4 inches across. Way too slim and short for my taller than average daughter. If your child is petite and slim, these might be true to size. If not, I would order at least 2 sizes up and hope they still fit in the waist. Also, they are almost all cotton, so I'm guessing they might shrink - I won't find out though because I'm sending these back.
